Dear All,

I thought it was time just to add a few thoughts and a bit of news.

2008 has begun with a slight little BROWNIE which we are going to try and work into with all our strength and energy required for these kind of things, specially the first time. As you know, ALWAYS the first time is the worst, at least for some of us.

Our friend, F.M. Powell believes it would be a good idea if someone else could organise 2008 Old Runnymede Dinner, just for a change and see what happens. Finally we have reached, at 40, that maturity requested to organise these kind of events.

Yesterday afternoon (yes, Sunday 27th Jan) a few of us (well, 5 of us volunteers) met up, and after a few drinks and laughs we got to the NITTY GRITTY and got going with different ideas. Updates will be added to the blog to keep you all updated.

So far we are just asking questions and capturing our ideas as they "flow" (a few drinks help..).
What is absolutely for sure is that we will need all the possible help from Runnymede and from all that mass experience acquired from our predecessors as well as from "all our people called Old Runnymedians".

We will definitely be needing all the help, pictures, material you may find, if you wish to send a digitalised message you are all more than welcome to do so and we do believe that the more of you who can show up the better (you know, the more the merrier.....).
